You may have noticed the logo on our kits at the MTB races this year, but it hasn't been truly official until now. As part of our undertaking in tackling the 2017 Cape Epic, we are fundraising for the Stollery Children's Hospital!
If you've been around Edmonton long enough, you know somebody who has been impacted by the Stollery. As any hospital, they can always use extra funding for improvements, equipment, and a variety of other things to improve the quality of the very-much essential service they offer. Since people seem to enjoy following along a couple amateur Edmonton bike racers efforts to train through the winter for an event as arduous and long as the Cape Epic, we thought we'd put some of that exposure to good use.
All we ask is that you visit our fundraising page on the website, read through our story, and consider donating. Any amount is appreciated and goes a long way!
Donations can be made in any amount, but you can also consider donating per kilometer ridden in the race.
The 2017 Cape Epic is 691 km:
$0.02/km = $13.82
$0.05/km = $34.55
$0.10/km = $69.10
$0.25/km = $172.75
As always, thanks for following along on this journey. Please share this with your friends and consider donating! Stay tuned for more updates as we train for the 2017 Cape Epic, as well as some fundraising events we have in the works.
